Principal's Message

As a Principal of SISU School Punta Cana, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our Finnish-American school. 

SISU Schools® is a global model with a comprehensive and holistic approach to learning. SISU students discover a world of knowledge by playing and sharing, becoming the best version of themselves. Each student comes to school with his own individual challenges and it is our aim to encourage our kids through a successful and positive way to reach their goals.

SISU school in Punta Cana is focused on offering our children an ideal education, system, and teachers, all together in one place: SISU School Punta Cana. We offer our students the wonderful opportunity to discover their unique talents and gifts. We explore our children's potential in order to help them achieve their personal bests in all aspects of their lives, which is holistic growth. We believe that by offering a supportive, creative and inclusive environment we can build respectful relationships from the kids with their peers, teachers, nature, and the broader community. We are committed to educating students to be productive citizens and lifelong learners in our changing world.

As a Principal, my goal is that together we can make all of these qualities happen successfully as a whole. My 20-year-experience teaching helped me understand that real knowledge comes with the best experiences, learning by doing. Teachers need to be our students' launch pads to reach their integral development.
